- We almost worship our work!!! - Believe me when I say this, we wont take a sick leave until and unless we are bed ridden. And we have no idea that one month holidays just to relax exist.
- We have very good negotiation skills - Well, if you don't believe me then go for shopping with any Indian....and see how we save your money.
- Its inexpensive to invest here and we have good talent available - Hey come on I cant finish my blog without mentioning this. We have the best talent in the world (Look at Nooyi, Arun, Mittal etc.) and it is still inexpensive to invest here.

Shahrukh with Motorola
All of us have seen KBC and the ad of KBC that now follows [the cute kid ad's are off air now :(]. So recently I saw this particular ad where Shahrukh is requesting viewers to use their mobile phones and enter KBC. Now he uses 2 brands in this ad - Airtel (thats obvious) and Motorola.
Now I know that Motoming is one of the sponsors of the show, but shahrukh had one of the other models in his hand.
Last I heard, Abhishekh was still the brand ambassador for Motorola, so am a little confused about this endorsement. Hope this does not add more fuel in the already bubbling fire between Bachchans and Shahrukh.

A Nostalgic Moment
Remember those early days when cable TV had just started, I remember there were all English channels (BBC etc.) and then came Zee TV. I still remember that ZEE only used to be on in the evening till midnight and therefore, it was a good time to pass watching TV with your family.
Though I did not remember any special shows on ZEE, one show that I just cant take out of my mind is Antakshari, they had the guts to make a family show into a national show. I think the best part about the show was not just singing the song but singng them right. Believe it or not, it really made me want to learn all the songs.
So, you must be wondering why am I being nostalgic about it today??? Well, after a couple of year's break the team of Antakshari is back on Star One and though I thought that Anu Kapur must have run out of his charm or the formula is so old and monotonous to work again, they have surprised me.
I just want to congratulate Gajendra Singh, Anu Kapur and their team for bringing Antakshari back. It really is a different kind of game show and there are so many songs which I Hear for the first time on this show.
They have entered with a bang and I hope they continue the same.

Tata v/s CSN - We have done it!!!

Yes, we have dont it. India has finally shown its true colours by outbidding CSN and acquiring Corus.
Let's face it, everyone is shocked, they never expected an Indian company to outdo CSN (which already had some stake in Corus). To tell you the truth, even I did not think that Tata will acquire Corus. I mean let's face it, we still underestimate ourselves.
So this week has been really good, first Shilpa Shetty wins Big Brother (Let's face it, its a sort of victory for Indians) and now Tata acquires Corus.
Congratulations TATA!!! you have shown the world that successful businesses can be build up in India and has taken India to great heights. WE ARE PROUD OF YOU.

Page 3 - A movie or REALITY
On 19th January, 2007 their was a breaking news about Nusli Wadia being caught by the Dubai security officers at the airport for carrying arms in his check in baggage(http://www.ibnlive.com/news/tycoon-nusli-wadia-detained-at-dubai-airport-for-gun/31589-3.html). Now the most surprising thing was that the arms werent detected at the Mumbai airport by the Air India staff.
But are Indians really surprised by this, since we know how VIP's are treated everywhere in India. I am so sure that Mr. Wadia must have arrived 15 minutes before the take off and would have been escorted by the Air India security staff to the awaiting flight and the security check never happened and he got into trouble at the Dubai airport.
But the most surprising thing is that what started as a 'Hot Breaking News' died a very silent death. I mean, WHAT HAPPENED TO NUSLI WADIA???
The news channels which can show Prince's story for 2 days and debate about everything from Big Brother's Racism to Transgender are quite when it comes to the most important issues like breach of security at the international airport.
This only reminds me of a scene from movie 'Page 3' where a rich businessman buys the people at the newspaper and stops them from publishing his story. So how much of the 'Page 3' exists in REALITY??? and How many Bombay Dyeing ads are we going to see on news channels now???
